Chiswick House
A late-Georgian terraced house in Chiswick that had lost its character to a dated renovation. The brief was for a new kitchen, fitted joinery and a complete redecoration — all delivered quickly, before our clients were expecting their first child. The result proves how much can be accomplished without major building works.

We designed a new kitchen layout to make better use of the raised ground floor, along with bookshelves for the library. The focus was on enhancing the existing rooms with thoughtful joinery rather than altering their proportions, letting the house’s Georgian bones do the work.
The furniture, rugs and lighting were almost entirely new. We avoided wallpaper and instead relied on warm paint tones and rich colours. The aim was a house with a happy embrace, one that feels as welcoming in the middle of summer as in the depths of winter.
