The original scope was for a new kitchen layout to maximise the use of the raised ground floor, and a general refurbishment and redecoration everywhere else. And the only catch was that it needed to happen quickly, before our clients were expecting their first child.

With a focus on enhancing the rooms with fitted joinery, we designed the new kitchen and bookshelves in the library.

Then we started almost completely from scratch with the furniture, rugs and lighting. We decided to avoid wallpaper entirely and instead rely on warm paint tones and rich colours to give the house a happy embrace that is as friendly in the middle of summer as it is in the winter.
